You don’t need an artist to tell you that beauty is everywhere, and you don’t have to go very far to find beauty in the everyday. The 2020 lockdown made many artists look more closely at what was at hand, in Peter’s case on the street where he lived. Drawing is a pathway to seeing more, and that is partly why it is so satisfying. That Spring this artist painted and drew and painted and drew, and never went further than the beach at the bottom of his road.
