Craigmillar and Niddrie are shining lights in the Edinburgh firmament, pioneers in community arts, yet their rich history can easily be missed. In 2022 Craigmillar Art Club, working with Peter Jones, was funded by Creative Scotland to publish ‘Craigmillar & Niddrie, a book of paintings’. This book celebrates local buildings and their stories, as well as artwork by Craigmillar Art Club alongside some of Peter’s own.
